The 'SWISS ALPINE LIONS' band, located in Singapore, was founded in the year 2002. The full band counts 12 musicians. Some are SWISS nationals, others from the surrounding ALPINE countries, the USA and Singapore (the LION city.) All have years of experience in European Country Brass / Wind Bands and in Military-Corps Bands. The band received high recognition in Singapore and S.E. Asia through entertaining at various Oktoberfests, Carnivals, Parties and many other Country-Club & Corporate-Events.

Performed at well over 150 musical-events, 'The Swiss Alpine Lions' is also the official Band of 'The Swiss Embassy' in Singapore. The music-repertoire ranges from Marches, Polkas, Ländler, Walz, Evergreens, Country, Dixiland, Big Band Sound and classical festive music.
A first professional CD has been recorded in October 2006 'The Swiss Alpine Lions' Selection (ISBN 981-05-7236-0 SAL001/06.) The CD is on sale during our Performances, at 'The Swiss Club' and at 'The Huber's Butchery' (Dempsey Road.)
